Bourbon Buck is a brand shrouded in mystery, the only information we have been able to establish is that it belongs to the Californian company Frank-Lin Distillers Product, whose roots date back to 1933.
The company is owned by the Maestri family and produces about 15 million cases of alcoholic beverages annually. Its president is Vince Maestri. Buck 8 years old debuted at the beginning of the new millennium, and the Beverage Testing Institute rated it 91 points. We do not know which distillery in Kentucky this bourbon comes from, nor do we know its formula. Rumor has it that the Buck brand is the property of the Heaven Hill distillery.
Nose : vanilla, crème brûlée, honey, maple syrup, black cherries, plums, rye bread toast, licorice, notes of tobacco and oak.
Palate: caramel, toffee, vanilla, cocoa powder, raisins, cherries, baked apples, notes of tobacco, leather and charred oak.
Finish : medium long, with notes of caramel, honey, roasted nuts, tobacco, leather and a slight bitterness of oak.
