Hibiki is a brand of luxury blended whisky from the Suntory portfolio, which includes the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries and the Chita grain whisky distillery.
The Hibiki brand appeared on the market in 1989 and since then has managed to gain both recognition from whisky lovers and a number of prestigious awards granted to its individual editions. The offered bottle does not have an external packaging - a cardboard box.
Aroma : Clear influence of sherry casks, dried fruit, dried fruit, vanilla, herbal and floral notes, a bit of honey and spices.
Taste : Extremely smooth, but after a while it reveals the lion's claw. Some spicy accents, fruity notes - nectarines, sweet oranges. A bit of honey and creme brulee. In the background a bit of white pepper.
Finish: Medium length, sweet, with delicate accents of oak and fruit.
