Suntory Toki, the work of Suntory blending master Shinji Fukuyo, debuted in 2016.

It is a blended whisky made from three components from its own distilleries – Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. “Toki” translates from Japanese to “time”, and the whisky itself is a cross between tradition and innovation. While most Suntory blends are built around Yamazaki, the pillars of Toki are the Hakushu single malt aged in American oak barrels and Chita grain whisky. The whole is complemented by Yamazaki aged in American and European oak barrels. Toki is a young blend showing a great balance between malt and grain whisky, excellent to serve neat or with a few ice cubes.

Nose : light and fresh, green apples, pears, limes, vanilla, honey, banana cake, pine nuts and a handful of fresh herbs.

Palate: sweet cereal, vanilla, butter cookies, green apples, peaches, pink grapefruit, green tea, almonds and a light herbal note.

Finish : medium long, sweet and spicy, with notes of vanilla, summer fruits, white pepper and ginger.
