Product description
Fuyu Whisky is a product of BBC Spirits, a Bordeaux-based company founded in 2010 by Bogdan Tanasoiu and Bertrand Fradin.
Initially, BBC's activities were limited to importing and exporting wines, but after a few years, distilled spirits appeared in the offer. While the standard version of Fuyu (debuted in 2019) is a blend of malt (20%) and grain (80%) whiskey, the limited edition presented here (6,000 bottles) is composed of equal parts malt and grain distillates. The whiskey was aged for three years in American oak bourbon barrels and an additional six months in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. The word "fuyu" translates from Japanese to "winter".
