Product description
Tullamore DEW has been the second most popular brand of Irish whiskey for years, closing 2019 with sales of 1.5 million cases (first was Jameson with 8.1 million cases, third Bushmills with 821.5 thousand).
Since 2010, the brand has been owned by William Grant & Sons, which has been building a new Tullamore distillery for four years, where it produces single malt, single pot still and single grain distillates. The Tullamore DEW 14 years old presented here is a triple-distilled single malt whiskey (most likely at the Midleton Distillery), aged in refill casks and finished in bourbon, Oloroso sherry, port and Madeira casks. Since its debut in 2016, this whiskey has won many major awards, the latest being a gold medal awarded in 2020 by the judges of the International Spirit Challenge.
