Product description
West Cork Distillers has been operating since 2003, founded by three friends – John O'Connell and brothers Denis and Gerard McCarthy.
Originally based at Union Hall in County Cork, the distillery moved to larger premises in Skibbereen (Cork) ten years later. Equipped with eight stills and two columns, the distillery distills malt, pot still and grain whiskeys and blends its own blend. West Cork is based on locally grown grain, and every drop of spirit is triple distilled. The blended whiskey presented here is made from 75% grain distillates and 25% malt aged in fresh bourbon casks. West Cork products are now available in 70 countries.
