Product description
Machrie Moor, a peated expression of Arran whisky distilled from barley malted to specification of 20ppm phenols, was introduced in 2010 and immediately made into the core range.
It’s name refers to the tale about the warrior giant Fingal who chained his favorite dog to a stone with a carved hole, known as Fingal’s Cauldron Seat, in a mystical peat bog called Machrie Moor located on the west coast of the Isle of Arran. The 8th Edition was released in the fall of 2017 with an outrun of 18300 bottles. The whisky has been bottled of natural color and without chill-filtration.
