Product description
Té Bheag whisky debuted in 1976 from the Isle of Skye-based Pràban Na Linne. The company was founded that year by Sir Iain Noble, an enthusiast of Gaelic culture and language.
Noble is also a major benefactor of the Gaelic College of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, where Gaelic is the language of instruction. Té Bheag is a blended whisky, made from distillates aged for an average of 8 to 11 years, much of it in sherry casks. The malt content is around 40%. Talisker plays a key role in the formula, complemented by malts from the Scottish Isles, the Highlands and Speyside. It is one of the few blends bottled without chill filtration, Té Bheag translates from the Gaelic for “little lady” or “dram whisky”.
