This is the entry-level Chivas Regal whisky. The 12 year old is one of the most recognizable blended whisky brands in the world.
Its recipe was created at the beginning of the 20th century. About 35 distillates from different regions of Scotland are used to create it. The main ingredient of this refined whisky are distillates from the Strathisla distillery located in the Speyside region. The youngest distillates matured in oak barrels for at least 12 years. The whisky has won many awards during its hundred-year presence on the market.
Nose : creamy and buttery with notes of vanilla, anise, lemon, cottage cheese, toffee, banana, oak chips and blackcurrant
Taste: rich and creamy with notes of banana, barley malt, allspice, walnut and caramel
Finish: light with notes of spice and sweet grain
