Product description
Chivas Royal Salute, a 21-year-old luxury blended whisky, debuted on June 2, 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
In turn, the Royal Navy gave the new ruler of the British Empire an honorary salute from 21 guns that day. The whisky is presented in stoneware decanters produced by Wade Ceramics Ltd. They are decorated with a lion's head and smoking cannon barrels, which symbolize Scottish heritage. Since 2019, the basic Royal Salute offer includes Signature Blend, The Lost Blend and The Malts Blend, and the selection of components is supervised by Pernod Ricard blender Sandy Hyslop. In 2019, Signature Blend won a silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
