Product description
Cutty Sark Prohibition celebrates the 90th anniversary of the whisky's debut during the inglorious period of American Prohibition.
It is also a nod to Captain William McCoy, who transported it from Scotland to America between 1923 and 1933. The captain's unparalleled honesty and refusal to smuggle alcohol of unknown provenance made Cutty Sark synonymous with the quality its recipients referred to as The Real McCoy. The key components of Cutty Sark are Glenrothes, Tamdhu and Macallan, and to a lesser extent Glengoyne and Bunnahabhain. Prohibition is a small batch edition bottled at 100 US Proof (50% abv), which was the standard of integrity before Prohibition. (Producer's tasting note.)

Taste: mouth-filling, thick vanilla cream and sweet toffee balanced with notes of pepper that gently pinch the edges of the tongue.
Finish : extremely smooth, with a subtle and warming spicy note.
