Product description
Dimple Golden Selection debuted in 2014 as a successor to the 15-year-old. It is the creation of Chris Clark, the master blender of Haig's whisky, a spirit with a similar profile to the 15-year-old.
The malt core of the blend is Glenkinchie, while the grain side is handled by the Cameronbridge distillery (built in 1824 by John Haig and now owned by Diageo). For over a century, Dimple has been presented in a unique three-walled, wire mesh bottle, a design patented in 1893. At the time, a similar bottle ensured safe transport, but now it is merely a continuation of the brand's tradition, undoubtedly catching the eye of a potential buyer.
