Product description
Sir Edward's is a blended Scotch whisky from the portfolio of the French Bardinet Group. Founded in 1857 by Paul Bardinet, the company was the first producer to mature rums.
In 1993, Bardinet Group merged with La Martiniquaise, the current owner of the Glen Moray and Starlaw distilleries. Little is known about the Sir Edward's formula, we guess that one of the key ingredients is Glen Moray, and the grain distillate is supplied by Starlaw Distillery. The premium version of this whisky presented here is made from distillates aged for no less than 12 years. The Sir Edward's brand is most popular in France, with annual sales reaching 1.5 million cases.
