Product description
Single Malt Millstone is a product of Zuidam Distillery, founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam and his wife Hélène, and currently run by their sons, Patrick and Gilbert.
The distillery is located on the Dutch-Belgian border and is the only one in the country that carries out the entire production process on site. The name Millstone refers to the symbol of Holland – windmills – used by Zuidam to grind barley malt. The family loves experiments, which is why their commercial offer is extremely diverse and constantly enriched. The Millstone presented here, distilled on January 16, 2006, spent 12 years in Oloroso sherry casks (in our opinion it was over 14 years), and was bottled at 46% abv on August 18, 2020.
