Product description
Paul John single malt is produced at John Distilleries Ltd's distillery in Goa, on the west coast of India.
The company was founded in 1992 and initially produced brandy and blended whisky. In 2008, it installed a pair of stills and began distilling malt whisky, and four years later, Paul John Single Malt debuted in Europe. The distillery distills from locally grown barley, and for smoked and peated editions, it uses peat imported from Scotland. The current sales offer includes five single malts, including three with a smoked and peated profile. Paul John Peated Selected Cask hit the market in 2013 and immediately caught the attention of whisky connoisseurs. It is blended from distillates aged in bourbon barrels and bottled at an alcohol content increased to 55%.
