Product description
The Adnams Brewery was established in 1872 in Southwold, Suffolk, on an estate where beer had been produced since 1396.
In 2010, the company built a small distillery, Adnams Cooper House Distillery, and began producing gin, vodka, and whisky. Adnams whisky debuted in 2013 in two versions – Single Malt No. 1 and Triple Grain No. 2. The latter was distilled from three malted grains: barley, wheat, and oats and aged for three years in American white oak barrels. The Triple Malt presented here replaced it in mid-2016. It is a whisky distilled to a similar formula, but aged for two years longer and bottled with an alcohol content increased to 47%.
