Product description
St. George's Distillery was established in 2006 by James Nelstrop and his son Andrew and was the first malt distillery to open in England in over 120 years.
The Nelstorps are a family with a strong farming tradition, dating back to 1335. James also follows the family tradition, he doesn’t use computers, the barley he uses to make his whisky comes from local farmers and the water from a well directly below the distillery. St. George’s whiskies are released as Chapters, and the Chapter 6 presented here was distilled in May 2008, aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in May 2011.
