John Distilleries Ltd is one of the four major players in the Indian alcoholic beverages market.

The company was founded in 1992 by Paul P. John, the son of a wealthy grower, producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages. John Distilleries currently owns three distilleries and eighteen facilities blending and processing their own spirits. The production of single malt whisky began in 2008 and has won around 200 awards and distinctions to date. The Nirvana presented here debuted in the spring of 2019 in the company's basic offer. Distilled from locally grown 6-row malted barley without peat and aged in American oak barrels, it is an extremely "friendly" drink and its additional advantage is its relatively low price.

Aroma: mild, honey, vanilla, caramel, nectarines, apples, lemon peel and a pinch of spices.

Taste: quite sweet, vanilla, breakfast cereals with honey, sugared nuts, a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg and white pepper.

Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, breakfast cereal and a hint of spice.
