Teerenpeli, family owned distillery, was established in 2002. It is located in the same building as Taivaanrata Restaurant, in the city of Lahti.
A brand new distillery opened in 2015 increasing distilling capacity to over 100 000 liters of spirit per annum. Teerenpeli is equipped with traditional pot stills imported from Scotland and its spirit is matured for at least three years. The Kaski expression was introduced in 2013 as part of Distiller’s Choice range and comprises whisky aged exclusively in ex-sherry casks for about six years. It scored bronze medal at 2017 International Wine & Spirits Competition. “Kaski” is an agricultural term for the first phase of cultivation, a new beginning.
