The Macallan A Night On Earth in Jerez is a limited edition single malt whisky created to celebrate the New Year, combining the traditions of Scottish Hogmanay and Spanish celebrations. Inspired by the cultural collaboration between Scotland and the Jerez region in Spain, known for its sherry production. The whisky is matured in sherry casks from Jerez – both American and European oak. Collaboration with Spanish artist Maria Melero gives this limited edition its unique style. The packaging depicts a picturesque night landscape of the Jerez vineyards, decorated with protective rose bushes and a symbolic reddening sky with a moon and a shooting star. The interior of the box is decorated with traditional azulejos tiles, which refer to a nostalgic homecoming and family celebrations. The innermost layer of the packaging reveals illustrations of golden grapes – a tribute to the sherry that matures in the casks used to create this exceptional whisky.
