Pirates Grog 5 Year Old Rum Straight From The Barrel/ carton/ 37.5% / 0.7l

This rum is a blend of distillates from four Caribbean producers – Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad and a fourth, which was not disclosed by the producer.

These rums were aged for 3 to 5 years in American bourbon oak barrels on the island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras. Its name comes from the fact that Roatan was a pirate stronghold in the 18th century.

Aroma : Bananas, vanilla, cane sugar, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon.

Taste: Buttery, oaky, with accents of fudge, bananas, cinnamon, black pepper.

Finish : Long, with notes of black pepper and leather.
