Product description
Ron Santa Teresa is one of the oldest rum producers in the Caribbean.
The Hacienda Santa Teresa sugar cane plantation was established in 1796. Rum began to be produced here in 1826. Both traditional stills and more modern rectification columns are used to produce rum. Maturation takes place in barrels made of American and French oak. Hacienda Santa Teresa was the first rum distillery in the world to use the solera system for aging distillates.
Santa Teresa Selecto Rum is a blend of still and column distilled rums. They matured for 3 to 9 years in oak barrels, partly in the solera system, before being blended and bottled.
