Product description
Martin Doorly & Co was founded in 1908 and soon changed its name to Doorly Macaw Rum. To this day, Doorly's rum labels feature a parrot (macaw is English for macaw).
The rum is made at the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, under the supervision of the incomparable Master Distiller Richard Seale.
Doorly's 12yo Fine Old is a blend of distillates from the rectification column and traditional pot stills. They matured for 12 years, mainly in oak barrels from American bourbon, but for the final phase of maturation they were transferred to barrels from Madeira and port. Until recently, this edition was available only at the Foursquare distillery, where it is created.
