Product description
G'vine gin is a product of EuroWinegate, a company founded in 2001 by two oenologists, Jean Sebastian Robicquet and Bruno de Reilhac.
This gin is distilled in small batches using botanicals from the Cognac region and wine spirit (Ugni Blanc grape variety). A unique ingredient in the G'vine gin formula is the grape blossoms, which form tiny clusters after just a few days. The flowering period is called "floraison" and the fruit setting period is "nouaison". The blossoms are hand-picked, then macerated in wine spirit for several days, and finally distilled in a small copper still. Other botanicals include juniper berries, ginger root, licorice, cassia bark, cardamom, coriander, cubeb pepper, nutmeg and lime; these are individually macerated and distilled. While the grape blossoms are an important part of the G'vine Floraison formula, the Nouaison version also features clusters.
G'vine Floraison is a gin with strong floral tones, where a delicate fruity sweetness is balanced by notes of ginger, cardamom and licorice. We recommend serving it with Fever Tree Elderberry Tonic and a quarter of a Granny Smith apple or in a Negroni cocktail.
