Product description
Beefeater Gin is produced in the heart of London at the Kennington Distillery. The brand was created in 1820 by James Burrough.
The name of the gin refers to the 19th century guards, called Beefeater, who stood guard in front of the Tower of London. It is made from grain spirit with the addition of 9 herbs and plants: Seville orange peel, lemon peel, juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, licorice, angelica seeds, orris root and almonds. Initially, the ingredients are macerated in spirit, in copper stills, then the contents are heated and the distillation process begins. Beefeater is bottled at 40%.
