Auchentoshan 16-letni Bourbon Matured / 53,7% / 0,7l

A limited edition of Auchentoshan (only 4800 bottles), aged in finest ex-bourbon casks.

The whisky spent 16 years in white American oak barrels and was bottled at natural strength of 53.7% abv. It was launched in 2007, about a year before the company decided to revamp the entire portfolio. Auchentoshan is the only Scottish distillery, which continuously carries triple distillation process.

Nose: rich, lots of vanilla, toffee, coconut, cherries in heavy syrup, delicate nuttiness.

Palate: sweet and creamy, honey, vanilla, pineapple, almond croissant, pears and dash of cinnamon.

Finish: medium long, sweet and spicy.
