Product description
In 2016, Billy Walker sold the BenRiach, GlenDronach and GlenGlassaugh distilleries to Brown-Forman to pursue new challenges.
The purchase of Glenallachie Distillery in July 2017 surprised many, mainly because of its large production capacity, 4 million liters of distillate per year. GlenAllachie, built in 1968, produced whisky for Pernod Ricard blends, mainly Clan Campbell. Billy Walker has always experimented with different types of casks and this practice continues at GlenAllachie. The GlenAllachie presented here, distilled on June 30, 2008, spent over 14 years in a Chinquapin oak cask no. 6912. Bottled in April 2023 at cask strength (57.4% abv), natural color and without chill filtration for the brand's Polish importer, M&P in the Cask Collection Club series in an edition of 264 bottles.
