Product description
Gooderham & Worts is a reminder of the golden years of Canadian whisky.
In 1837, the company built the country’s first commercial distillery in Toronto and by the end of the century had a 33% market share. After the repeal of Prohibition in the United States, the company merged with Hiram Walker & Sons, and its Toronto distillery closed in 1990. The Gooderham & Worts brand returned to the market at the beginning of the new millennium in the Canadian Whisky Guild series (along with Lot No. 40 and Pike Creek). It is currently produced in Windsor, Ontario. The Four Grain version presented here (the four grains are rye, wheat, corn and barley) is a blend of four separately distilled and aged whiskies, matured in American oak barrels.
