Product description
With sales of around 15 million bottles, Glenfiddich leads the sales statistics in the single malt category.
In 2022, the company proposed "The Perpetual Collection", four whiskies that are in constant motion in the production process. Their creation used the solera concept typical of Spanish sherry producers. As early as 1998, Glenfiddich's master maltster, Dave Stewart, used it in the production of the legendary 15-year-old version. The solera vat is never completely emptied, after pouring off 30-50% of the content, it is immediately refilled with another batch of whisky. "The Perpetual Collection" consists of four whiskies, each blended using two types of barrels. VAT 01, described by the producer as "mild and velvety", is a blend of distillates aged in bourbon and red wine barrels.
