Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series debuted in 1968 in the Gordon & MacPhail offering.
Its creator was George Urquhart, a second-generation family owner and a great whisky visionary at a time when most Scottish malt distilleries were producing for blenders, not even considering promoting their whiskies as single malts. Today, over half a century later, the “Connoisseur’s Choice” successfully competes in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The Glen Keith presented here, distilled in March 1968 (Glen Keith used triple distillation at that time), spent almost four decades in refill hogsheads (American oak), and was bottled at 46% abv in December 2007.
