Product description
Burnside is a whiskey brand from the Eastside Distilling portfolio based in Portland, Oregon.
The company was founded in 2008 and originally imported rums, and is currently listed on the stock exchange (symbol EAST). Its offer includes rums, tequila, vodka and whiskey. The name Burnside refers to a street in Portland, where there were many bars and saloons in the 1860s. Eastside Distilling does not disclose which distilleries its whiskey comes from, but emphasizes that at least some of the distillates are finished on site in Oregon oak barrels (Quercus Garryana). "Burnside Goose Hollow Reserve is an extraordinary blend of four bourbons finished for 45 days in Oregon oak." In 2018, this whiskey won a silver medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
