Frisky Panky Blended Scotch Whiskey / 40%/ 0.7l

Frisky Panky blended whiskey debuted in 2020 in the offering of Monkey Brands International, a Mexican-Dutch company based in Rotterdam.

The company was founded in 2017 by Luis Fabricio Camarena Rocha and its portfolio includes blended, single malt and blended malt whiskeys as well as rum and gin. The Frisky Panky brand is inspired by the hipster subculture of the 1940s and, according to the producer, aimed at the "millennial" generation, it changes the face of Scotch whiskey. We don't know much about the formula of the blend presented here, we read that it is a whiskey put together by dreamers for dreamers from malt and grain distillates aged in selected bourbon barrels. In 2021, this whiskey won several prestigious awards, including a gold medal at the International Spirit Challenge and a silver medal at the World Spirit Competition.

Nose : sweet cereal, buttery croissant, bananas, dates, honey, vanilla, candied citrus peel, oak and a distant hint of smoke.

Taste : mild, roasted cereal grains, brown sugar, vanilla, milk chocolate, cappuccino, honeyed nuts and a hint of nutmeg.

Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, honey, brown sugar, citrus peel and a subtle oak bitterness.
