Product description
Angels' Nectar is a range of single malt and blended malt whiskies from the Highfern Ltd portfolio. The company is based in Grantown-on-Spey and was founded and owned by Robert Ransom, former Commercial Director of Glenfarclas Distillery.
The name of the whisky is inspired by the so-called "angel's share", or whisky that "evaporates" from barrels during maturation to the delight of angels. "The warehouse stocks of Scottish whisky producers amount to 20 million barrels, of which an average of 2% per year evaporates in the form of an angel dividend. The contents of the bottle presented here are merely the nectar taken from the angels." Angels' Nectar Original is a blend of single malts from undisclosed Speyside and Highland distilleries.
