Product description
Whiskey-based liqueurs, or so-called Flavored Whiskeys, are the most dynamically developing category of alcoholic beverages in the 21st century United States.
Jack Daniel's joined the group of producers only in 2011 with the Tennessee Honey edition, which was an incredible success - in 2012, 700 thousand cases were sold, and in 2018 it was 1.8 million cases. The formula of the drink seems simple, as the producer claims, it is a blend of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and honey liqueur of its own production. It is bottled with an alcohol content of 35%, which clearly places it outside the whiskey category. Honey seems to be the favorite component of liqueurs composed by American producers, in fact all the major bourbon brands offer their "honey" version - Jim Beam Honey, Evan Williams Honey Reserve or Wild Turkey American Honey.
Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey is a great option for both summer (served with ice) and long winter evenings. Its palette includes a lot of honey and maple syrup sweetness, a bit of herbs and of course Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey. We add two company tasting glasses to the bottle.
