Product description
Fred Laing’s Old Particular series debuted in September 2013, shortly after the division of the assets of Douglas Laing & Co. between the two Laing brothers.
It is the equivalent of the Old Malt Cask series, which is owned by the newly formed Hunter Laing & Co. and headed by Stewart. Old Particular comprises single malt and single grain whiskies bottled in single cask. The Macduff 21 year old on display here was distilled in May 1997 and aged in a refill hogshead cask (DL 12943). Bottled in November 2018 at cask strength (51.5% abv) and unchill-filtered in an edition of 331 bottles.
