Product description
Until 1954 Tullamore Dew whiskey was produced at Daly’s Distillery in Tullamore. After the distillery closed the production moved to Power’s Distillery and later to Midleton and Bushmills distillery.
William Grant & Sons acquired the brand in 2010 and in the autumn of 2014 newly built Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery was up and running. It produces both malt and pot still whiskey and original capacity of 1.8 million liters of spirit per year will be doubled in the near future. Tullamore Dew is the second best selling Irish whiskey with 12 million bottles sold in 2016. The XO Caribbean Rum Cask Finish was introduced in the fall of 2017; it is a blend of pot still, malt and grain Irish whiskeys finished in barrels that previously held Demerara rum.
