Product description
Single malt Royal Brackla has been advertised for years as the "Royal Whisky". The distillery was established in 1812 and in 1835 received a Royal Warrant from King William IV.
For most of the second half of the 19th century, the distillery's sales agent was Andrew Usher, father of the creator of the first blended whisky, and we can assume that the original formula for Usher's Green Stripe included Royal Brackla. Since 1998, the distillery has been owned by John Dewar & Sons, a subsidiary of Bacardi, and produces around 4 million liters of distillate per year. The 8-year-old version presented here was available in the early 1990s.
