Product description
Scenes from Lynchburg is one of Jack Daniel's most popular collectible series. It presents images from the town and distillery in twelve scenes.
It debuted in 1998 in Europe in 1-liter bottles, and almost every year a new edition presenting a new version was released in the European Travel Retail chain. Around 2001, “paintings” in 750 ml bottles containing 40% ABV whiskey appeared in Canada, and two years later in the native Lynchburg (this time the whiskey had 43% ABV). Currently, the entire series consists of twelve 1-liter bottles/scenes; eight 750 ml bottles (43% ABV) and three 750 ml (40% ABV). Here we present the third edition, The Hardware & General Store. In 1912, Jack Daniel’s nephew, Lem Motlow, built a small general store a few minutes’ walk from the distillery. It is located on the town square, opposite the District Court building. A wooden bench in front of the entrance invites you to take a short break from sightseeing or for a neighborly chat. The shop is still open today, although it offers a different assortment - instead of tools and household goods, souvenirs and products related to the Jack Daniel's brand.
