Product description
Home Laurent-Perrier is one of Champagne's most recognized producers - its history dates back to 1812, when André Michel Pierlot founded a small enterprise in Tours-sur-Marne.Over time, thanks to the Laurent and Perrier family, and later to the visionary Bernard de Nonancourt, the house has evolved into one of the most important and innovative champagne producers in the world.
It was Bernard who gave style to Laurent-Perrier wines - based on freshness, elegance and finesse , yet technologically daring. One of his greatest innovations was the creation in 1968 of Cuvée Rosé, a rosé champagne made by maceration (saignée), instead of the popular coupage of white and red wine.
The vineyards from which this wine comes are spread mainly in the prestigious Montagne de Reims region - one of the hearts of Champagne.Laurent-Perrier uses both its own plots (more than 100 hectares) and long-standing contracts with top growers, allowing it to select fruit from more than 300 habitats, including numerous Grand and Premier Cru.
Cuvée Rosé is made exclusively from the Pinot Noir variety, harvested from about 10 selected crus, including the famous Côte de Bouzy - a place known for producing some of the best red base wines in Champagne.
An interesting fact is that this champagne is made from grapes macerated for 2-3 days, which brings out the natural color and texture, without the need to add red wine - a rarity in Champagne.
Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut is one of the most recognizable rosé champagnes in the world - a symbol of elegance and a modern approach to a classic appellation.Entirely based on Pinot Noir, it is distinguished by its intense fruity character and extremely clean style resulting from the production method.
The wine is matured on the lees for a minimum of 5 years , which significantly exceeds the requirements of the Champagne appellation and gives it depth and a creamy texture.
