Product description
The Pol Roger Champagne House was founded in 1849 in Épernay and has remained an independent, family-owned business since its inception. For generations, the Roger family has ensured that the style of their wines is synonymous with elegance and balance—without compromising on quality. An interesting fact is that Pol Roger was Winston Churchill’s favorite champagne, and after his death in 1965, the street in Épernay where the house is headquartered was renamed “Avenue de Champagne – Winston Churchill.”.This producer's wines are known for their exceptional finesse and meticulous winemaking, including a long aging period on the lees, which gives them their characteristic complexity and creaminess.
Pol Roger Rosé Brut Vintage 2008 is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with the addition of approximately 15% Pinot Noir red wine from selected vineyards. This vintage boasts exceptional freshness and structure, showcasing Pol Roger’s winemaking expertise.
