Product description
The Macallan is the most highly regarded whisky among collectors.
It all started in the 1950s when the distillery directors focused on the expansion and sale of The Macallan in the single malt version. The following years only strengthened the brand's fame, which currently achieves extremely high prices at auctions, breaking its own records - on October 24, 2019, Sotheby's auction house sold a bottle of The Macallan 60 years old, distilled in 1926, for 1.5 million pounds. The Macallan 30 years old, edition 2023, is an absolute decoration of the basic offer. The whisky was aged in American and European oak barrels seasoned with sherry and bottled at 43% abv. "This spirit reflects The Macallan's unconditional dedication to the process of selecting the highest quality oak barrels combined with the highest quality sherry." (Producer's tasting note.)
