Talisker Storm debuted in 2013 alongside two other age-rated editions, Dark Storm and Port Ruighe.

Talisker is typically distilled from barley malt with a phenol concentration of 18 to 22 ppm, and smoky and peaty notes are an integral part of its aromatic and flavor palette. The creators intended these elements to be more strongly exposed in the Storm version, thanks to the use of distillates partially aged in regenerated, re-charred barrels. In 2021, Diageo slightly changed the presentation of the whisky by adding the words "Smoky and Powerful" to the name. Talisker is currently the tenth best-selling single malt whisky, closing 2020 with 3.3 million bottles.

Nose : rich, sweet and slightly mineral, apples, grapes, honey, vanilla, toffee, milk chocolate, pepper, sea breeze and a light puff of smoke.

Taste : sweet and spicy, with a good dose of peat smoke, honey, vanilla, apricots, baked apples, lemon peel, white pepper, a trace of cloves and a pinch of salt.

Finish : medium long, with notes of spices, oak, delicate fruity sweetness and peat smoke in the background.
