Product description
Chivas Royal Salute debuted on June 2, 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
The name of this 21-year-old whisky referred to the honorary 21-gun salute fired by the Royal Navy during special ceremonies. Its ultra-premium version is the 62 Gun Salute, which in turn commemorates the most important events for the monarchy (such as the birth of a member of the royal family or the Queen's birthday) with a 62-gun salute fired from the Tower of London. Chivas Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute is blended from distillates no younger than 40 years old and presented in a crystal garnet decanter inlaid with 24-karat gold and accompanied by a booklet describing the process of creating this unique blend.
