Product description
Tomintoul Distillery (established 1964) is located in Speyside, inside the Glenlivet estate.
It is named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, the highest village in Scottish Highlands. Since 2000 the distillery has been owned by Angus Dundee plc, the private company owned by the Hillman family. The Hillmans market Tomintoul as ‘The Gentle Dram’ and it certainly is one of the lightest Speyside single malts. In the new Century the distillery has been running at full capacity producing 3.3 million liters of spirit per annum. Here is Tomintoul aged in refill American oak casks and finished in tawny port casks. The whisky was bottled at 40% abv and released as part of Small Batch Collection.
