Product description
Celtic Whisky Distillerie, also known as Glann-ar-Mor, was founded in 1999 by Jean Donnay.
Based in northern Brittany, in the Côtes-d'Armor department, and equipped with two small stills, it produces two types of single malt whisky – the “unpeated” Glann-ar-Mor (its name in the local language means “place on the seashore”) and the “peated” Kornog (which translates from Breton to “west wind”). The latter debuted in 2009; it is distilled from malt imported from Scotland with a phenol concentration of 35 ppm and aged in bourbon barrels for at least three years. In 2020, the distillery and its whisky stocks were purchased by Maison Villevert.
