Product description
The Macallan M Copper is part of the super-luxury The Macallan M Collection, dedicated to one of the distillery’s six pillars, the curiously small stills.
These devices, indeed some of the smallest in Scotland, are an integral part of the production cycle of this extraordinary single malt. “The consistency in the use of the original shape of the stills ensures maximum contact between the distillate and the copper and translates into a profile of the whisky, buttery, bursting with fruity sweetness and a subtle aftertaste of barley malt,” we read in a statement from the distillery. The whisky is filled with a unique, copper-colored Lalique crystal decanter, which further emphasizes the role of the still and Macallan's dedication to both tradition and innovation. The edition presented here is from 2023. (Official tasting note.)
