Product description
Tullibardine Distillery, founded 1949, sits in the village of Blackford in Southern Highlands.
The ownership of distillery has changed several times, last time in 2011, when the French company Picard Vins & Spiritueux took over the operation. In 2016 the company introduced the Marquess Collection, which pays homage to the famous historical figures who bore the Marquees of Tullibardine title for centuries. The Murray name derives from the 2nd Marquees of Tullibardine, Sir William Murray, who fought for the Jacobite at the Battle of Sheriffmuir on the hills above the current distillery. Triple Port Cask Finish Edition is the 12th installment in the series – the whisky distilled in 2008 was aged in American oak barrels and finished in three types of Port casks: White Port, Ruby Port and Tawny Port then bottled in 2022 with an outrun of 18,278 bottles.
