Product description
For decades the Wemyss family were involved in wine (not whisky) production, although it was on their land that the Cameron Bridge distillery was built in 1824 by a young John Haig.
Wemyss Malts was founded in 2005 and over the next decade achieved huge success using an unusual marketing strategy – the names of the whiskies it bottles correspond to their aromatic and flavour profiles. The Spice King presented here is a limited edition of 5,000 bottles, made from 21 casks of whisky from the islands belonging to the Highlands and the Isle of Islay. Unofficially, we know that the main component of Spice King has always been Talisker).
