Product description
Ezra Brooks Bourbon debuted in the 1950s as part of the Hoffman Distilling Company offering.
In the 1970s, the brand was acquired by Medley Distilling Co., which sold it in 1993 to David Sherman Corporation based in St. Louis, Missouri (operating as Luxco Inc. since 2006). In 2018, Luxco opened its own distillery in Bardstown (Lux Row Distillers), and Ezra Brooks bourbon is currently distilled there; in January 2021, Luxco's assets were acquired by MGP Ingredients from Indiana for $475 million. At exactly the same time, Ezra Brooks 99 debuted; we don't know which distillery in Kentucky the whiskey comes from, it was distilled from a mash of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley and aged for at least four years.
