Maison Ferrand was founded in 1989 by Alexander Gabriel, a cognac luminary whose mission is to preserve traditional production methods while implementing new and efficient solutions.
Maison Ferrand co-owns the 247-acre Logis d'Angeac vineyard and has its own distillery in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, which has been in operation since 1776. Ferrand 10 Générations, a blend of eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region, celebrates the family heritage in cognac. To celebrate the Chinese Year of the Rabbit, which begins on January 22, 2023, the company has launched a limited edition of 10 Générations finished in port barrels. Twelve thousand half-liter bottles have been released.
Nose: raisins, red apples, plums, almond croissant, vanilla, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, notes of licorice and oak.
Palate: delicately floral, honey, vanilla, white chocolate, pears, raisins, orange peel, roasted chestnuts, cinnamon, traces of cloves and oak.
Finish : quite long, with notes of vanilla, honey, plums, orange peel, licorice, nutmeg and oak.
